John Beebe, M.D. (ENTP), is a psychiatrist and former president of the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco.  He was the first American co-editor of the London-based Journal of Analytical Psychology and is the author of Integrity in Depth. His eight-function model assigns archetypal energy to each of the Jungian functions which enables individuals to recognize and begin to develop their non-preferred functions.

Beebe's eight function model has been used by Type Resources for almost 15 years, and we are convinced its framework provides the most direct pathway for a person to gain insights that lead to improvements in self-management and better interpersonal relationships.
