Our four day qualifying program is designed with no pre-work required other than completing two instruments on-line and having a friend complete a MBTI® instrument for you to use during training.   Participants should expect to have homework each night. 

We offer one day application workshops that conveniently follow our four day qualification programs.  Most participants choose to attend to gain an even richer, more hands-on understanding of type.  Program content will vary by location.  Click here to learn more and register for these innovative workshops.

Program Agenda

Day One:

• Introduction
• Framing - Purpose, Requirements
• Overview of Jung's Theory - Provides a general description of the functions-in-attitude and the preferences
• Determining the Type Dynamic Pattern from a Type Code

 Day Two:

• Review material covered on day one
• Development and Construction of the MBTI® instrument
  • How the instrument has changed over time
  • Major considerations regarding item development
  • Reliability testing procedures and their results
  • Validity testing procedures and their results
• Strengths and weaknesses to consider when using the instrument

Day Three:

• Review material covered on day two
• Administering the MBTI® instrument - contracting, scoring, report options, and instructions to give to the clients
• Interpretation of MBTI® instrument results - Discussions regarding how to conduct group and individual session, ethical considerations, and exercises that aid in facilitating sessions
• Determining "Best-fit" Type - Discuss the process, examine supportive resources
• Practice conducting a feedback interpretation session.

Day Four:

• Review material covered on day three
• Complete the objective exam
• Complete the interpretative exam
• Application exercises and discussion
• Wrap up

Pre-work: 

• Complete on-line Exploring You®  two weeks before program start date 
• Complete on-line MBTI® Form Q two weeks before program start date
• Have a friend complete MBTI® Form M in pencil (for you to learn to score and practice conducting feedback)

Cost:  $1,395 ($100 extra in New York City)
